I am currently finishing my Master of Arts degree in Theological Studies at Regent College, Vancouver. My master's thesis focuses on the impact of Dietrich Bonhoeffer's works on North American peace church/Anabaptist theology. I am also deeply involved in community work in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside at Jacob's Well.Â
I grew up in Greater Victoria, training and competing in triathlon for many years, I now enjoy long distance trail running. I left Victoria in 2019 for Winnipeg, where I completed an undergraduate degree in Conflict Resolution and Mennonite Studies. It was in Winnipeg that I got interested in Anabaptist history and theology and joined in community life in Winnipeg's West End. I returned to the West Coast in 2019 to be closer to aging family and to study theology at Regent College. It was at Regent under Dr. Jens Zimmermann that I became interested in Bonhoeffer and his impact on Anabaptist theology.
