In April 2025 I graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Theological Studies from Regent College, Vancouver. For my master's thesis I researched the impact of Dietrich Bonhoeffer's works and life on North American Peace Church/Anabaptist theology. I have recently applied to PhD programs focusing on Mennonite history. I am also deeply involved in community work at Jacob's Well in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside.
I grew up in Greater Victoria, training and competing in triathlon for many years; I now enjoy long distance trail running. I left Victoria in 2019 for Winnipeg, where I completed an undergraduate degree in Conflict Resolution and Mennonite Studies. It was in Winnipeg that I became interested in Anabaptist history with Dr. Royden Loewen and joined in community life in Winnipeg's West End. I returned to the West Coast in 2019 to be closer to family and to study theology at Regent College. It was at Regent under Dr. Jens Zimmermann that my interested in Bonhoeffer and his impact on Anabaptist theology began, culminating in my thesis work.
